His tracks have been released on trend-setting labels such as Affenkäfig Red/Blue, Studio3000 Records, Monkey League, 1605 & Toolroom. Jens is also the founder of various influential electronic music labels. He owns and distributes more than 60 labels.

For 15 years, he formed the acclaimed duo Lissat & Voltaxx, producing numerous house anthems and remixes that resonated worldwide. Today, Jens tours as a solo artist under his own name, delivering a signature TECHNO sound. 

Jens’ journey began in Hamburg in 1979, during the early days of disco, and by the 1990s he had become one of the founders of German techno. His project Interactive produced hits like “Who Is Elvis, and Forever Young” and his pioneering label No Respect Records, co-founded with Ramon Zenker, marked a milestone in the evolution of techno and trance music.

In 2025, Jens Lissat continues to showcase his versatility and innovation. In July, he released the single “Ready to Flow”on the label „Sentiment“, followed by a remix EP in August featuring reinterpretations by Dennis Bauer and D.N.S. Other recent releases, including „Univrs“ and „Lose It“, further expand his repertoire and highlight his ongoing evolution as an artist. These tracks continue to demonstrate his signature groovy tech-house sound while exploring the full spectrum from house to techno.
